Here's how you can help:

1. Share Don't Frack Michigan's educational materials with others.

2. Write or call respected environmental and conservation advocates and your representatives. Tell them we must move beyond fossil fuels. Inform them that they must demand the EPA and DOE close the Hydraulic Fracturing exemptions and loopholes to the Clean Water Act, Safe Drinking Water Act, Clean Air Act, National Environmental Policy Act, Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. Demand an end to Fossil Fuel Subsidies. When the planning field is leveled, Safe Renewable Energy Resources (Wind, Solar, Conservation and Energy Efficiency) can compete successfully.

3. Organize discussions on fracking at your home or community center with family, friends and neighbors. Share our educational materials from our website and other sources.

4. Write or call respected environmental and conservation advocates. Inform them that fracking is inherently destructive and cannot be successfully regulated.

5. Inform all candidates for public office that they should understand the causes and costs of extreme climate change...make your vote count by demanding an end to subsidies and loopholes for fossil fuels.

6. Learn about renewable energy resources and lobby your community, state and national representatives to work for a clean energy future.
